Blame

When you plant lettuce, if it does not grow well, you don't blame the lettuce. You look into the reasons it is not doing well. It may need fertilizer, or more water, or less sun. You never blame the lettuce. Yet if we have problems with our friends or our family, we blame the other person. But if we know how to take care of them, they will grow well, like lettuce. Blaming has no positive effect at all, nor does trying to persuade using reason and arguments. That is my experience. No blame, no reasoning, no argument, just understanding. If you understand, and you show that you understand, you can love, and the situation will change. -

There comes a Time.

While it is true that as far as we know we donít have any choice about

our birth, our parents, our family or the neighborhood we are raised in.

Still, there comes a time.

The first years of our life are totally dependent on those around us.

The type of seed planted in the garden of our minds is dependent

on others and we are undoubtedly shaped & molded by the thoughts,

beliefs, opinions of those charged with our upbringing.

Still, there comes a time.

Many influences abound in our world, many theories, doctrines or

isms that bombard our every sense through television, radio, &

magazine. Powerful & persuasive men are at every turn determined

to sway us to their way of thinking, what they believe is right.

Still, there comes a time.

As we grow & mature becoming a unique individual there comes

a point in time when we stand at a crossroad.

Here we are given the opportunity to choose.

We have the choice of walking down the path that in essence has

been paved in half truths & ignorance, or we can determine to walk

down apath of our own design, our own making.

The time has come

Regardless of the path we have chosen, at the moment in time when

we stood at the crossroad & made our choice, we became 100%

accountable for our own lives, our own circumstances.

The time will come, that we must accept the truth that we are the

designer & architect of our life. That we no longer have anyone to blame.

When we must accept the truth that our reality, is of our own making.

That we are the sum total of our thoughts, beliefs & actions.

That we are responsible for the lettuce in our garden.
