How to participate in our "prayer movement:": email us (from "prayer movement" homepage) to tell us how YOU are choosing to pray. Be in prayer for these needs! (Prayers are on the prayer homepage or "background information" page if you find those suitable for your prayer use.)

Most Gracious Lord,
We pray to love You with all of heart and mind and soul and strength,
and our neighbors as ourselves.
May we worship You in SPIRIT and in truth, perfectly so!

O righteous God,
who searches minds and hearts,
bring to an end the violence of the wicked
and make the righteous secure. Ps. 7:9 NIV

Deliver us from “the mind of the flesh” (Rom. 8).
We thank You for all things taken for granted;
we pray for the perps, for those guilty before You of things recognized or not recognized as .sin.

We would recommend that you close, or open, your prayers with the Lord's Prayer
Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come, Your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread
and forgive our sins, as we forgive those who wrong us.
Do not lead us into hard testing, but deliver us from evil.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever Amen

Rev. David Byrd (featured elsewhere on this site for his "Seeds" meditations) contributed this prayer:
"Lord, I love you and I need you, come into my heart, and bless me, my family, my home and my friends, in Jesus' name. Amen."
(Those who have accepted the Savior may want to pray "fill my heart" instead of "come into my heart")

The "background information page" has discussion of prayer for national revival, the condition of America after the Revolutionary War and the tremendous effect of prayer, one man's plan for prayer, a national Repentance Prayer drive, etc.

A Lutheran family in Southern California brought us their concern for the children of the "Holy" Land, whose minds are at risk from the violence they see as they grow up. You may want to join also our prayer for that? (following)
Ah, Sovereign Lord! You are Almighty, faithful, wise, and loving.
We praise You with all of heart and soul, for what You have done forever, for us and for so many.
We praise You, we thank You, and we praise and thank You for what You have done for us here, and so much that You have done, all over the earth, more than we know.
We come also before You to bring this concern: the children of Palestinians and Israelis see terrible things, sights that might move them to ongoing hostilities. We ask You, stretch forth Your mighty hand of power and save!

www.liveprayer.org (also.com) offers prayer by email, guaranteeing that someone will read and pray over your request -- and some fascinating testimony!
